Junior Scholarship

The Junior Scholarship is offered to one new student from Year 1-4. This student must be a new enrolment at St Anthony’s School and must show commitment to Catholic values and active participation in school or community life.

The scholarship is:

• for one year only, with no automatic renewal
• for a one of payment of $1000, which may be used towards attendance fees and uniform costs
  

Senior Scholarship

The Senior Scholarship is offered to one new student from Year 5-8. This student must be a new enrolment at St Anthony’s School and must show commitment to Catholic values and active participation in school or community life.

The scholarship is:

• for one year only, with no automatic renewal
• for a one of payment of $1000, which may be used towards attendance fees and uniform costs

Application & Selection Details

Application Submission

Applicants for all scholarships must submit the following documents.

• A completed application form
• A personal statement from parents/caregivers explaining why they wish their child to attend St Anthony’s School
• Supporting documents (e.g. a completed enrolment form with required documentation/evidence of New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency)
  

Interview & School Visit:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a meeting with the principal and the selection panel.

Final Decision:

A selection panel comprising the principal, a teacher, a representative from the school board and the parish council will review applications and select recipients based on merit, commitment, and need.

Terms & Conditions

• Scholarship recipients must maintain good academic standing and active school participation.
• The scholarship is non-transferable and applies only for the designated year.
• If a recipient withdraws enrolment, the scholarship may be reallocated at the panel’s discretion.
• The scholarship is for one year only, with no automatic renewal
